The RMUS Solar Inspection Drone® is a complete, Ready-to-Deploy package specifically configured for commercial and Solar inspection applications. This package is built around the new DJI M200 V2 platform which offers object avoidance, longer flight times, weatherproofing, automated subject tracking and other advanced features ideal for inspection purposes (see below for more detailed specs).
The RMUS Solar Inspection Drone® includes an X5S high-resolution daytime camera that is capable of taking 20.8 megapixel still images. When combined with a Drone Deploy software package, the images from the X5S can create various commercial-grade deliverables such as 3D models, elevation layers, volumetric measurements, shapefiles, etc. The X4S is also capable of recording high resolution 4K video.
The package also includes the Zenmuse XT2 640x512 30Hz 13mm Radiometric with built in RGB camera. The DJI Zenmuse XT2 allows for FLIR's MSX overlay of Thermal Images with visual image outlines. With the higher pixel count and field of view provided by the 13mm lens, this has been the most popular XT2 model amongst our commercial inspection clients. RMUS highly recommends using Raptor Maps for thermal mapping applications.
The RMUS Solar Inspection Drone® includes all the necessary equipment for immediate field operations. We provide the latest firmware updates, lighting systems for night operations (if necessary), access to RMUS’s private instructional video library, a complimentary RMUS Remote Pilot Package and our RMUS Solar/Public Safety Customer Service Package.

- The M200 v2 series now comes equipped with the OcuSync 2.0 transmission system, enabling a range of up to 5 miles/8km.
- DJI has increased data security by encrypting all data all data transmitted through the OcuSync 2.0 transmission system.
- There are now two (2) anti-collision beacons permanently installed on the top and bottom of the drone to satisfy the FAA’s Night Waiver Standards. They are able to be remotely triggered on/off for agencies that need covert operations.
- To save time the M200 v2 series supports one-click firmware upgrades, meaning that you can update the firmware of the aircraft, aircraft RTK module, D-RTK-2 mobile station, Crystal Sky, mobile app and payload simultaneously.
- The new TimeSync system continuously aligns the flight controller, cameras, GPS module and RTK module, as well as any third-party payloads or onboard accessories, fixing the position data to the center of the image frame for improved data accuracy.
- Pilots using multiple drone payloads during their operations can now calibrate the drone’s new center of gravity with ease from the DJI Pilot app for better flight performance.
- Each M200 v2 series aircraft comes with a one year DJI Enterprise Shield Basic plan. RMUS will activate these plans on all of our customers’ behalf prior to shipping.
Other Important Information
· The new M200 v2 series is NOT COMPATIBLE with TB50 batteries. Only the higher capacity TB55 batteries will work.
· The M200 v2 series uses a new version of the Cendence remote called the Cendence S remote. The original Cendence remotes that came with the original M200 v1 series units (or purchased separately) are NOT COMPATIBLE with the new M200 v2 series.
